I am a post-doc design and human factors researcher working for the Transportation Research Group at the University of Southampton. I hold a BA in Industrial Design, MA in Design Management and I obtained my PhD in Design Research. I have worked on various research projects including designing user experience and interfaces in the field of transport.
I became particularly interested in the gender gap in transport research after I saw big differences in emotional and cognitive responses between women and men during my PhD. The differences commonly appeared not only in transport-related literature but also in my own data.
I joined this group because I want to contribute to making public transport safer as well as perceivably safer for all users.
