My name is Bhirasuthi, but people know me as Peach. I am currently a third year MEng Aeronautics and Astronautics student at the University of Southampton. I recently joined the Close the Data Gap group for my individual project which is closely related to their mission of creating an equitable future for all within transport systems. Being in this group has helped me gain insights into gender equity in current transport systems from people with various backgrounds.
Personally, I have been interested in raising awareness on gender equality in general. Being involved in this group is a great opportunity to know more about gender equity in transport research.
